Is that even how you spell his name?
The other day, JP, Nolan, and I were at the drs office. We were in the lab area and JP said to me "Hey mom, that's the vase of 12 sunflowers". I said what? as we looked up at the painting on the wall, I wondered what this little man was talking about. I looked around the room at the smiles and smirks on everyone else's faces. I repeated what he said, "the vase of 12 sunflowers" and w/ a duh look on his face, shaking his head he said "mom, Vincent Van Gogh". Everyone's face dropped...wide open, as did mine! I asked him where he learned that and he said, art class mom. ---The story doesn't end there. Tonight, I was sharing the vase of 12 sunflower story w/ mom and dad. They cracked up and like me, and everyone else in the waiting area, they were in shock. Mom then helped JP put his sweat shirt on and she called him Vincent Van Gogh and he looked up at her and said, "how did he even lose his ear?" I looked at mom and said, "He doesn't have an ear?" Sure enough...Vincent is 1 ear short and my son, needless to say, isn't short of anything. My little genius!
Our other precious joy will be 4 tomorrow! I am in shock...my baby...who is one of the funniest beings alive, will be 4. I'm sad but super excited, and I'm crying just thinking about how fast time has flown.
Time flies when you are having fun, it even flies when you aren't. Time just flies regardless of what is going on around you. It reminds me that I need to cherish and capture as many moments and memories as possible. I am so grateful that the Lord gave me my babies...smart, funny, beautiful. They are little mini versions of Josh and I and they have brought us such great joy. I love my boys! Their daddy too! :)
This is a blogging site for our family! Wonder what we are up to? Check out our site!

On Hold
Well, we are at a complete stop w/ our "new" house right now. The foundation didn't pass FHA guidelines and althought we've been super excited, we have complete peace. Not complete peace that we'll get it, but peace that regardless...we will be fine.
A friend mentioned a possible job opportunity that we will seriously investigate for Josh. It has to do w/ managing farm life and comes w/ a home and utilities along w/ a great starting salary. Hmmm....when one door closes...?? We are not going to get excited about anything. But the search for details in both areas has begun.
We are going to a friend's house today. We just started hanging out and just introduced the spouses to each other and we are looking forward to many more gatherings. Their kids and ours get along so well, it's almost perfect. :)

Boys....
I'm totally bummed. Nolan has been doing some incredible things at school. Thank goodness for Ms. Debbie's blog....otherwise I would have no idea that they got to see a train yesterday, talk to the train conductor, touch the train, play on the tracks, sing about trains...What is it about boys that makes them not go into details about their day like girls?
JP talks a bit more but understands a bit more too. He is a little more like me on the sharing bit. He is in love w/ a girl named Hillary...He'll say, "Mom, it's the L word", we're getting married. When I ask if she knows they are getting married, he says "Moooom, no!!!"

I love it

Seriously...I'm a blogging loser! I just don't think to blog!
I've been playing catch up on old friends. It's amazing to think you can hold a grudge for someone for long that it just fades away. Why? Is it b/c the Lord renews that part of us that was once void? Or is the Lord helping me realize that I too, am imperfect? But, what about those people that hurt us along the way? Or what if, it had nothing to do w/ those people all along...that it was just all part of God's plan. Thank you for the foxes in our lives and in my first marriage. I couldn't and wouldn't ask for anything different to happen then what has already happened. It's your will and not mine. You've allowed me to make a difference in other people's lives. Thank you for giving me a story to share. Thank you for old friends.

I was right!
Well, what can I say, when I'm right, I'm right.
I cannot keep up with a blog....haha
I wish I thought of it thru-out my day/night, but I don't. :)
I'm not giving up yet.
